At Shellbells Bakes, we’re all about full-flavoured joy — but we’re also serious about safety. Whether you're treating yourself or buying for someone else, we want you to have all the info you need to make the right choice for your body and your belly.


⚠️ Important Overview

All of our products are baked in a domestic kitchen that handles the following allergens on a regular basis:

  • Gluten (Wheat)

  • Milk

  • Eggs

  • Nuts & Peanuts

  • Soya

  • Sulphites

We take great care when preparing each order, but cross-contamination is always a possibility due to shared kitchen space — especially for customers with severe or airborne allergies. If you have a life-threatening allergy, we would recommend avoiding ordering for your own safety.


🌾 Gluten-Free Bakes

We do offer gluten-free options! 🙌
These are made with dedicated gluten-free utensils and equipment, including separate:

  • Mixing bowls

  • Spoons, spatulas & whisks

  • Baking trays and tins

We also clean all surfaces thoroughly before baking gluten-free items and prep them before any standard bakes that contain wheat.
📝 Please note: while we do everything we can to reduce the risk, our kitchen is not certified gluten-free.
