🎄 Christmas Hot Chocolate Mug Cake

A fun and festive Christmas cake designed to look like a giant mug of hot chocolate. ☕🎄

Layers of soft chocolate sponge and chocolate buttercream are covered in red buttercream and finished with a rich chocolate drip, a striped mug handle and a generous swirl of vanilla buttercream designed to look like whipped cream.

Finished with festive sprinkles, a mini candy cane and chocolate coins, it makes a brilliant centrepiece for Christmas celebrations and a fun alternative to a traditional Christmas cake.

There’s even an extra piece of cake hidden beneath the whipped-cream-style topping, because more cake is always a good idea. 🍫
